How to publish your first SubmitAds4Free ad
A verified walkthrough of the Post It Ad Board, from prepared copy to approval and reporting.
New to these terms? Browse the advertising glossary, or follow a linked term below.
Create your account and open the ad creator
Create a free account through the normal signup page and complete any verification requested. Then log in and open the Post It Ad Board member screen using the button at the end of this guide. If the site asks you to log in again, finish signing in and reopen that link.
The member screen shows your placements used and your placement term. These are the current rules for your account. Check them before submitting; do not assume every free advertising format has the same term or allowance.
Complete the fields in “Create a Post It ad”
Choose the most relevant Category. Enter your Subject, Ad text, and full Destination URL. The current form limits Subject and Ad text to 100 characters each, and Destination URL to 255 characters. Choose readable subject, background, and text colors, then a pin color.
Illustrative subject: “A checklist for your first ad.” Illustrative text: “Check your message, destination, and next step before you advertise.” Use your own real destination that delivers the promised checklist. Never submit the example unless you actually provide that resource.
Submit for approval
Select “Submit for approval.” New ads are reviewed before appearing publicly. In Current placements, the status distinguishes Pending approval, Active, Paused, and Suspended. A successful submission is not the same as a publicly active placement.
If the allowance is full, the page explains that your placement allowance has been reached. Review your existing placements and current membership allowance. You do not need to buy an upgrade simply to learn what the message means.
Check the result after approval
When your ad is Active, open the public board or your Fast Ad Board from the member screen and check the subject, text, readability, and destination. Use the member screen’s destination link for a functional check; avoid repeatedly clicking public ads to manufacture campaign activity.
The placement card reports Views, Clicks, and CTR. CTR is clicks divided by views, expressed as a percentage. These counters do not establish leads or purchases. Check the destination’s own reporting for those outcomes.
Manage changes carefully
“Edit placement” lets you revise the copy and other fields. Saving changes sends the placement back for administrator approval. An edit can therefore interrupt public visibility while review is pending. Record the edit date so you can interpret your results.
Active ads can be paused, and paused ads can be enabled. Before resetting statistics, copy the old values into your campaign notes. If your ad is suspended or review needs clarification, use the site’s support link rather than repeatedly resubmitting the same content.
